Have you worked as a Systems Engineer, meaning with a holistic perspective, complex technical systems, Systems Engineering, system of systems, and multiple phases in a system's lifecycle and requirements management? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Our team of dedicated individuals is looking for a Systems Engineer/Technical Project Manager eager to meet our clients' diverse needs. We work with government agencies and companies in the defense sector to create secure comprehensive solutions, streamline processes, and contribute to complex system development.

The tasks may vary depending on which client and assignment you are working with, and in which phase of the system's lifecycle, but common to all is that you will have the opportunity to work with advanced and complex systems that make a difference for society.

Qualifications

We are now looking for a Systems Engineer/Technical Project Manager who is experienced in working with larger and more complex systems that require good collaboration skills. As a consultant and experienced professional, you contribute to customer value and upselling. You have a good understanding of the entire system lifecycle and are comfortable navigating between technology, requirements, and collaboration.

 We want you to meet the following requirements: 

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, with a focus on Systems in Technology and Society (STS), Technical Physics, or Electrical Engineering. Significant work experience in systems work, Systems Engineering, system of systems may also meet the requirements.
• Experience in defense or defense-related areas, preferably also with FMV's processes and methods or equivalent in the defense industry.
• Several years of professional experience in the following: systems work, Systems Engineering, system of systems, lifecycle perspective, technical project management/participation, complex technical systems, requirements management, requirements verification, configuration management, ILS (Integrated Logistics Support), and/or the lifecycle model ISO 15288.
• Experience in several of a system's lifecycle phases (concept, development, production, operation, maintenance, decommissioning).
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, as documentation, review, and communication constitute a large part of the work.

Desirable to have:

• Experience in consulting
• Certification from the international Systems Engineering organization INCOSE
• Experience with requirements management tools and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
• Experience in computational science/programming thinking (mathematical modeling, numerical methods, programming and simulation, visualization and analysis) or experience in the EMC area

We are looking for employees in: Stockholm/Solna, Enköping, Uppsala, and Arboga. Depending on the assignment, you may sometimes work on-site with the client. Business trips may also occur.
